London to Brighton 100k Walk · 21 June 2014 ·

We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are walking for "Coops" (Kingo Anthony Cooper) and other veterans like him who have had to adjust to sight loss. "Coops" is also walking on his new prosthetics as part of a relay team with other Blind Vets.

The courage and determination that "Coops" has shown throughout his recovery so far helped Kimbers through her own challenges whilst at Headley Court.  A serving soldier, there's no doubt that she will finish the walk, Mum however is a little more flakey and it will be a real challenge both physically and mentally!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
