I’m taking part in the Virgin British 10k run in London on 15th July to help raise money for the charity Perennial. Perennial offers advice and support to those working in the horticultural industry who are in crisis.

I have finally made it off the couch and training is now underway - in a fine new pair of running shoes. Now, I haven’t done much running since sports day circa 1984, so it’s going to be a challenge - but then that’s the point...
