We are Susan & Lynne O’Keeffe and we are taking part in the Sleep Out for Simon for our second year in a row. This Sleep Out will always be something that’s close to our hearts & the rest of our family's hearts due to the loss of our uncle Brian O’Keeffe in February last year. We are doing this Sleep Out in memory of him, for all other families who have lost someone close to them due to homelessness, for people who don’t have a place to call their own or a bed to sleep in every night. There are now over 10,300 people homeless in Ireland with this number having increased by 178%  since June 2015. The services working in this area need all the help they can get, a little goes a long way, we would appreciate any donation possible. 

100% of funds raised will go directly towards extending the reach of Galway Simon Community's Homelessness Prevention Services which include a Community Support Team, a dedicated Youth Service, a specialist Women and Family Service as well as a drop in resource centre in East County Galway.
