Living in darkness after the sun sets is the reality for 590 million people in sub-Saharan Africa. We are challenging everyone to go for one night without using electricity.

Story

Susannah and James are taking part in a Night Without Light on 13th October 2022. This means that, from sunset until we go to bed, we'll have one solar-powered light (provided by SolarAid) to light our evening - and no other electricity-powered entertainment such as internet, phones, tv or videogames! It's a small challenge but a big change from how we usually spend our evenings....
