Help us reach our target of £50,000 so we can continue providing a lifeline for parents, siblings and other family members who are coping with the devastating loss of a child.

Story

Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page.

We have joined together to do the Sunrise Walk in Guildford to raise vital funds for Shooting Star Children's Hospices to help them provide essential care and support to 700 life-limited babies, children and young people and their families living in London and Surrey.

Every step we take will help to make every moment count for bereaved families. By taking part in the Sunrise Walk 2019 we hope to help Shooting Star Chase reach their target of £50,000 so they can continue providing a lifeline for parents, siblings and other family members who are coping with the devastating loss of a child.

It's going to be a struggle to get out of bed at 4am (!), let alone walk 20 km in the dark, but we are determined to do this to raise as much money we can to help the Hospices.

It costs £10 million per year to run the Hospices and only 10% of that comes from Government funding - the rest is reliant on donations from generous folk like yourselves.

Remember:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your
details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone
or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money
directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%)
is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That
means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.

Enormous thanks for every penny you are able to donate.
