Susan Straughan-Harding lost her battle with cancer at a relatively young age having first breast cancer followed by two brain tumours which developed at such a rapid speed she did not stand a chance. She was such a loving friendly person who touched the lives of so many people in her working life as the deputy head teacher of Laburnum Lower School in Sandy her family life with her husband, two boys and her loving parents and in her personal life with the many friends she made over the years.
During the last days of her life she was extremely well cared for at Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice in Bedford and I know it would be Susan’s wish that family friends and colleagues who wish to donate in her memory support this charity in her memory.
