Why on earth is she doing Tough Mudder I hear you ask?! So this year I turn 40 and wanted to do something different, something meaningful, something I'd remember and appreciate, something that I could look back on and think 'yeah I did that'. After telling my sister, Sarah this who competed in an event last year, she asked if I fancied competing in one this year along side her. Abso-flippin-lutely!! 

We then began discussing what charity to promote and Sarah mentioned Worldwide Cancer Research. Cancer has, after all affected most people at some point in their life, somewhere in the world. My Granddad D, my Granddad M, my Granny Stella and most recently Sarah's extremely good friend Anthony Nzeribe who lost his life to this vicious disease only a few years ago. 

I only had the pleasure of meeting Tony a handful of times but his smile was one than ran from ear to ear and his warm personality had me captured as a Tony 'fan' from day one. He was an extremely lovely man and it would make me proud to trawl through smelly mud, climb over walls so high I have to be used as human ladder, get dunked in ice cold water and electrocuted (to name a few) in your honor Tony. I hope I do you proud.....and make you smile!
