Charity Shop Trek Challenge · 18 June 2022

Founded solely for the care of animals in Manchester and Salford, we must fundraise for 100% of our costs as a charity to survive. Every penny donated to the charity keeps our animal centre in Salford open 365 days a year - so that our doors can always be open for every small animal who needs us.

Story

On Saturday 18th June 2022 Susie will undertake the Charity Shop Trek Challenge; an 11 mile walk visiting all the RSPCA Manchester and Salford Branch's 5 shops. Along the way she will be at the hands of the retail staff who will dress her up in all manner of fancy dress 'outfits'! Susie's sidekick, Dagnabbit the dog, will join Susie for the last leg of the trek (Chorlton to Urmston), after all she only has teddy legs!

Dag has been an integral part of the team at RSPCA Manchester and Salford Branch for the last 9.5 years. Having been hand reared by the team from just 10 days of age she went on to be adopted by Branch Manager With her enthusiastic bum wiggles, infectious giddiness and demand for attention she is up for another fundraising challenge.

We will livestream parts of the walk (and public humiliation of Susie) via the branch's Facebook page. Guaranteed to raise a smile and hopefully a few pounds too!
