We'd love to raise money for Red Community: a charity that is all about combating modern slavery in Wales. They do this by supporting survivors with friendships and financial support through their Embrace Project. They also seek to raise awareness in schools, community and faith groups using various forms of engaging media. Excitingly during the month of October, the same time as we are doing the marathon, they are launching a brand new children's book, Brave, aimed at helping children engage with issues of freedom, justice and mercy. 

Knowing the people personally who run this charity and those involved in the Embrace Project we can assure you that every penny raised will contribute significantly to the ongoing fight for freedom here in Wales and the care of those affected by slavery. 

Training is tough but knowing it's going to a great cause will keep us going. Thank you all so much for your support.
