We support people living with HIV to help them live healthy independent lives

Story

As an agency, Search Seven pledges to donate 7% of it's profits to charity every year via fundraising and donations, and each team member can support a cause that is close to their heart. For me, Sussex Beacon resembles just that, after seeing first hand the incredible support they provided to my uncle when he was at the Beacon in his final stages of life.

Sussex Beacon

Sussex Beacon is a charity specialising in care and support for people living with HIV in Sussex, based in Brighton.

I have supported the Sussex Beacon for over 5 years now, with the cover image above showing my mum and I visiting the beacon when we undertook a previous campaign (#share7) in 2018 - where we donated over £1,700.

#S7100 Campaign

Following on from the success of our recent #Share77k campaign, where we increased our fundraising to £77,000 (£27,000 raised across 2020 & 2021) to mark our 10th birthday in November 2021 – we have now set our sights on the big 100 and as part of the #S7100 Charity Campaign funds donated to this page would be matched up to £150 by Search Seven.

Fundraising activity

My goal is to walk 100 Miles in August in an attempt to reach my fundraiser goal of £150 and receive a full match fund from Search Seven, bringing the grand total to £300, which will go directly to the Sussex Beacon and contribute to the fantastic work they are providing the sussex community.

As part of my fundraising, i will be meeting up with the rest of the S7 team to walk the London Landmarks half marathon.
