Raising money for British Hedgehog Preservation Society · 11 September 2020

BHPS aims to protect the future and welfare of native British hedgehogs and help people better to understand and respect wildlife through education, conservation and the funding of cutting-edge research focussed on hedgehogs (Erinaceus europaeus).

Story

The ‘Hedgehog Friendly Campus’ initiative is a nationwide campaign funded by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society with the aim of making university campuses a safe place for these incredible and endangered animals. The scheme is based upon each university completing a list of initiatives to gain three classes of accreditation: bronze, silver and gold. The University of Sussex is well on its way to achieving bronze accreditation! However, one of the initiatives that we are yet to complete is to raise money for this fantastic organisation who work relentlessly using conservation strategies to ensure hedgehogs are around for many years to come. By making a donation you will be directly helping towards conservation! Please help us raise money to allow them to continue this incredible work.
