Helping children and young adults with cancer preserve their fertility - giving them the gift of hope for the future.

Story

I am cutting off my hair on September 23rd and donating it to The Little Princess Trust which provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.

I know first-hand how tough cancer treatment can be, and as a scientist working at Oxford to develop new treatments for preserving fertility for cancer patients, I know how much more we have to do to ensure these children and young adults have a normal life after cancer.

Please sponsor me to cut my hair off so I can donate it to The Little Princess Trust and also to raise money for the Future Fertility Trust.

The Future Fertility Trust provides hope for young people faced with the prospect of premature infertility, often patients battling cancer. Set up by a group of Oxford doctors and scientists the charity provides expert care and advice including a comprehensive tissue cryopreservation service for girls and boys alongside a dynamic research programme.

This invaluable service is the only of its kind in England and is currently not funded by the NHS, so relies totally on charitable donations.
Any amount you can donate will make such a difference.

Please sponsor me and help me to raise money so that the The Future Fertility Trust can help more children and young adults preserve their fertility, and have the opportunity of having their own family in the future.
