Bubble Rush 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
As most of you are aware my Dad (Brice Leebetter) sadly passed away last Monday 26th March 2018 after finding out he had lung cancer only 3 weeks earlier :( Because it was so fast he unfortunately didn't get any support or treatment but I know my Dad always donated to St Luke's and he would want me to support them going forward. Therefore, this is the first of a number of events I am planning to do to raise money and awareness for a fantastic charity.
Oliver and Ellie my 11 and 9 year old children will be joining me to complete the 5k Bubble Rush run in memory of my Dad and their Grandad. They are both devastated to have lost their gorgeous Grandad so suddenly and unexpectedly and they want to do whatever they can to help me raise money for St Luke's Hospice.
The three of us will be very grateful if you could make a donation, no matter how small, to help raise money for this fantastic charity. Every penny counts and will be very much appreciated.
Thank you so much from Suzanne, Oliver and Ellie xxxx
Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.
