During the COVID 19 outbreak our commitment remains the same - to ensure people facing terminal illness, receive the care and compassion they deserve. Our frontline clinical staff continue to care for Cardiff.

Story

The City Hospice nurses and counsellors provide an essential service to those who need it most. The team support families through the most difficult of times and by maintaining the best quality of life, our nurses ensure patients and their families have the chance to create lasting memories. During the COVID 19 outbreak our commitment remains the same - to ensure our patients receive the care and compassion they deserve. If a person in our community; it may be a loved one, friend or colleague requires community palliative care, City Hospice is the outstanding charity which provides this essential service. We are Cardiff's local hospice. Our charity is partially funded by the NHS, and still needs to raise over £1.5m a year to deliver our service. We ask the community to help us during the difficult days ahead, so that we can continue to provide nursing and essential care to those who are terminally ill.
