CureTBM and was established in 2015 to help raise awareness about this debilitating respiratory disease that causes your airway to collapse. It is not a rare disease but rather rarely properly diagnosed. We support research to ensure better quality of lives for our patients as well as lend support to the family

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having looked after babies with tracheobronchomalacia and having Alfie who, being a pug, doesn’t have the sturdiest of airways, this seems like a great charity to support. Although based in the USA, they support patients and families worldwide.
The recent discovery that I also have TBM was a bit of a surprise to say the least. I didn’t even know adults could have it!! I’ve had some excellent care so far from the NHS and have already been set up with home CPAP. CureTBM have answered a million questions for me already. They are little known and underfunded and anything we can do to help them will enable them to support many more people & further research :)
