The Friends of the Baby Unit was established 47 years ago (1976) to raise money for equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies being cared for on the Neonatal unit at The Royal Derby Hospital. The money raised over that time is now over £2 million pounds. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our  JustGiving page.

One of our lovely little dancers has twin brothers Oscar and Harry who spent 11 and 14 weeks respectively at the Royal Derby NICU , returning home recently . Both are now thriving but only because of “the amazing nurses and doctors “

In the words of their mum Nicole “ The boys had their ups and downs during their long stay and staff were always there with words of support, a celebratory hug or shoulder to cry on “

We want to support the Friends of the Baby Unit Derby who have been fundraising for 42 years to buy much needed vital life equipment and sundries www.fobuderby.co.uk
