Today with more than 10,000 members, the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) is the world’s largest independent swimming teaching and lifesaving charity. Our mission is to educate people with vital lifesaving and swimming techniques, in the aim to reduce the number of needless deaths every year.

As part of Meghan’s role as one of their Water Safety Ambassadors, she has, with the support of Torfaen Leisure Trust, organised a sponsored swim Relay to raise funds to support the STA with raising awareness and encouraging people of all abilities and age to learn to swim and how to stay safe around water. 

Meghan has the support of her fellow swimmers from within the trust Nofio programme as well as Torfaen Dolphins and Cwmbran Otters swimmers.
