I'm running the Great Manchester Run 10k for #TeamStroke! My dear mum died October 21st 2015 she had a massive stroke and was in ICU for 4 weeks I miss her so much, I couldn't do anything to help her at the time of her being in hospital so this is very close to my heart and hopefully could help others. There are over 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke.
