Here we go again ... I'm on my challenge quest once again to raise money for The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice.  A charity so close to my heart after my lovely dad spent his last days there in October 2013.  I can't quite believe it will be 6 years this year without him, but I have since that time made it my mission in various ways to support and fund raise for them.  I love a challenge, but no challenge I do will ever get close to the challenges that these patients face.  The hospice is a place where support, care and comfort is given, at a time it is needed the most, not just to the patient, but for the family and friends as well.

I have now done many things (some more crazy than others!) to fund raised and this year is no different ... I am embarking on Saturday 20th July in the Rat Race Series Man V Lakes ... I did this last year with a team of 6, but strangely I have have one person mad enough to do this with me this year .... Andy Gray thank you for being as bonkers as I am .... we've got this!!

In September myself and an EPIC team are embarking on the hospices organised Hadrian's Challenge ... a 2 day challenge of 10k kayak,, 30 hike and 70k bike ride ... this is a great opportunity to spend time with fellow nutters (I mean friends😉!)  and continue our fund raising.  I am joined by my nephew Brandon and my other half Paul, Ella, Darren, Jamie, and Jack and a wider group. It is always special to be able to complete these group challenges with super people, and we would love your support.

In October I complete the trio and I am running Dublin marathon ... going solo for this one, strange no other takers 🤔 Paul is coming to check the Guiness is ok ..... this will be my 8th marathon !!!  And 3rd one this year ... I'm sure I said I was only ever going to run one marathon!?

So yet again, I'm asking you lovely lot to spare us a few pennies ... remember those small amounts add up and every donation matters ... I love reading the messages of support or just the messages telling me I've lost the plot ....!  The fact you have taken the time to read our story and donate to our cause really means the world and would mean that and more to dad ... always in our thoughts and heart.

Thank you in advance :)

Suzanne, Paul and Brandon xx
