Hounds for Heroes provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured & disabled personnel of both HM Armed Forces & Emergency Services. Our aims are to provide help & practical support leading to an enhanced quality of life for our beneficiaries.

Story

Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far!  I have just realised I have not written anything on this page.  To be honest I was too scared to share it for months because I thought I'd probably get another injury.  Now I think I have to face facts that I am actually going to have to go through with this.

I have been keeping a training blog at https://seven07.org/ for the last few months - go and have a look, it's full of whinging and unflattering photographs and is bound to supply some entertainment.

Lastly - my chosen charity is Hounds for Heroes, a great little organisation who provide and train assistance dogs for injured service people and emergency service workers.  Imagine being injured doing your job, helping other people, and losing your independence.  These dogs really do give people their lives back, and I think it's important to give back to people who have made sacrifices for others.  Plus I like dogs.
