London South Bank University has recently signed the Armed Forces Covenant and gives amazing support to its veteran and reservist employees.

As part of their ongoing commitment through the Armed Forces Covenant, LSBU have given me the opportunity to expand our support to the Armed Forces Community by sponsoring me to take part in the London to Brighton challenge with the hope that putting myself through the pain of marching 100km with a 20kg rucksack will raise a good amount of funds to help SSAFA, the armed forces charity, to continue their support to serving personnel, veterans, reservists and their families.

I believe that raising funds for those who are suffering or have suffered through sacrifice, should be raised through suffering and sacrifice and the pain I endure during the challenge will ensure I appreciate those who serve our country, those who support them and remind me of the cause of this great charity.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
