Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page
I have decided to run a marathon for the first time this year in Dublin. I am not sure of the exact reason but it seemed like a good idea at the time. . . . . 3 months on the flights are booked and it’s too late to back out now. I have never run that far in my life and with the training beginning I am just starting to understand the size of the challenge.
I am running for a children’s charity called the ECHO Trust that makes a dramatic difference to the lives of thousands of children across the country. It gives donations and vital medical equipment to various childrens health projects and hospitals across the country such as:
Tiny Lives, Oxford Children's Hospital, Nordoff Robbins, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, Leukaemia Research, Facing the World, Marc Anthony Memorial Fund, Birmingham Children's Hospital, NSPCC, and many more.
Please give generously to this worthy children’s charity as it could benefit your children or somebody you know.
Please visit www.echotrust.org for more information about the difference you could make to someones life.
Reasons for donating today!
1. You will be helping a fantastic children’s charity
2. It will be painful for me running past all the pubs in
Dublin and not drinking
3. I won’t be able to walk properly for a few days
4. You are prepared to pay to see me in lycra shorts ....
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ECHO Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now and make a difference.
Thanks
Rob
