Swan2Wheels Bike Club will be doing a sponsored Rugby Match against Leigh Lancastrian Titans ARLFC on the 18th November at St Peters Pavillion in memory of Leah Rebekah Davies.

Leah joined the Swan2Wheels bike club two years ago when she volunteered to do a bikini bike wash for our fun day raising money for MacMillan.  She soon got a love of motorbikes and would just us as a pillon on rideouts.  As an apprentice hairdresser she saved up all her tips and 12 months later went in for her CBT and passed.  A week later she bought her very first bike, a black and gold YBR 125 which she called Nemo, her pride and joy.

Leah was an active fundraiser and as a doner would regularly give blood. She was a truly inspiring 19 year old.

On July 29 she was unfortunately involved in a road traffic incident. Leah managed to battle for 1 week in Intensive Care but her injuries were too severe for her to pull through.

Had Leah survived she would have need so much specialist rehabilitation, so therefore we are fundraising for The Walton Centre who are currently trying to expand these services.

Every penny raised from the event will be donated to The Walton Neuroscience Fund so please donate generously
