Story
This October 15th we're going to be taking part in the Llamau Sleep Out, giving up our bed for one night and sleeping out in recognition, not replication, of homelessness. Although we likely won't have a very comfortable nights sleep, this is something we are choosing, and will be sleeping in the office for one night. For many of the young people and women that Llamau supports, sleeping outside in the cold and dark or in an unsafe setting is not a choice. We believe a safe place to sleep is a right, not a privilege. So please do support us in our challenge to give up our bed for the night. It costs £91 to house someone in one of Llamau's projects for a night and so we would love to fundraise as much as possible and help a young person or women leave homelessness behind and move on to a brighter future. I appreciate it's been a very difficult time for many and so anything that you can give would be so appreciated. Llamau's services have never been more in demand and so your donation, big or small, will make such a difference.
