The Financial pressures of Covid-19 are being felt by so many.... Pinkston no less. For many people outdoor sports are key to positive health and well-being. Please help keep this facility open post Covid-19 for the benefit of Glasgow and beyond.

Story

As a result of the Covid-19 crisis Pinkston Watersports, Scotlands only artificial whitewater course has been forced close our doors.

In our effort to get through this tough time we have made some very tough decisions and stopped all possible expenditure. All staff have been placed on furlough.

We are very aware of the massive impact that this awful virus is having on everyone, and I'm sure that you'll agree that its incredibly important that we are still here for our community when this crisis is over.

We are expecting to loose £140,000 income as a result Covid-19 crisis.

Even with doing everything that we possibly can, it is looking likely that we will finish the year with a £50,000 deficit.  We do not have enough savings to cover this.

Please consider supporting our charity if you can.  You would be helping to save Scotland's only artificial whitewater course and urban paddlesports centre ~ a community paddlesports centre supporting some of the most disadvantaged.
