St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life.

Story

Jacob, Reuben and I decided we wanted to do something special together this year to mark the 10th anniversary since their dad Chris died.

St Barnabas supported Chris at home when he was terminally ill, so we've chosen to join St Barnabas and trek up mount Toubkal in Morocco, as this is something Chris would love to have done.

I'm really looking forward to doing the trek, but also I'm very worried as this is going to be a massive challenge for me to get to the summit. It'll also be a challenge for both Jacob and Reuben to have to do this with me in tow, I promise boys I'll try not to be to annoying!

We have a lot of money to raise (£6000) for this fabulous charity but I know with our wonderful family and friends support we can nail this.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page.

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year we support more than 10,500 people across Lincolnshire with a life limiting or terminal condition. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. We aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left. We are reliant on the financial support our community provides so that we can be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
