Join me, my team, researchers, and charities as we commence the world's first full, Atlantic Ocean swim: 3,000km, Africa-Brazil, 200 days, starting October 2022. We will also be conducting world-first human, marine, and ocean research and my aim is to inspire us all globally to be the best that we can be and show that ordinary people can achieve the extraordinary.

As someone who has experienced depression in adulthood and drowned as a child, this is both my personal ambition and mental challenge. However, my crew is also overcoming their own mental health conditions and as a team, we intend to show by example, that you really can overcome the barriers placed before you in life; that you too can achieve whatever you set your mind to, from stepping out of the house to building your own expedition from the ground up, without a background of wealth, to inspire and help so many more in the UK and beyond.

By contributing to preserving our oceans and advancing our understanding of both the fabric of The Atlantic Ocean and human physiology and mental health applicable from daily life to life in space, we can all make a difference to our children's futures.
