Chamwell centre is a hydrotherapy pool that is closely linked with Milestone School in Gloucester, a school for disabled children and young adults. The centre provides these children and children of the surrounding community with a range of facilities such as: a soft play area, hydrotherapy pool and rebound therapy area. However, the centre is old and well used and therefore is undergoing some well needed refurbishments. My aim is to help them raise a part of the £3million goal by recruiting people to take part in their fundraiser, Swim Across the Moon. It simply involves getting into the closest pool and swimming to raise some money. This does not have to be a big challenge, you could sponsor a friend to swim a few length or vice versa, it does not have to be a large amount or a long distance as every little helps! Or you could choose this as an opportunity to finally get started on those new year resolutions of becoming fitter and choosing to swim a large distance over a limited time period for such a fantastic cause! They can sponsor you directly by paying the money through this GoFundMe page or by directly paying someone. I hope that you will want to help this cause as it is such a meaningful one and will enable many children and young adults around the Gloucestershire community to live their lives to the fullest..
