Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

On the 6th of February 2022 our swimming friend Helen, passed away suddenly and un-expectedly at the age of 43. Helen was a keen swimmer, last year completing the Exmoor 4km challenge (which she smashed!) with Kirsten and Clare finishing the 2k, as well as other events such as Weymouth 'swim the bay'. This time Clare, Kirsten, Michelle and Mary will be completing the 2k distance in support of her daughter Olive (age 11), husband Simon and friends completing the 1km challenge. We are hoping to add to their amazing achievement in their first open water swim, by raising money in Helen’s name for Brain Tumour Research.
