Jolly Josh is a Rochdale based Centre providing dedicated peer support and safe spaces for children and young adults, families, and carers of children with complex medical and physical needs. Our aim is to end isolation and connect families, enabling them to support each other and thrive.

Story

Following Alison’s amazing success for Jolly Josh, Sharon has challenged Dan to get active and fundraise for Jolly Josh, so Dan has set himself a goal to raise funds for Jolly Josh in memory of his friend Peter Cordwell.

In the month of May he is going to swim from England to France and back, which is 42 miles, in the Norton Grange swimming pool.

In true Dan style, he’s set up a spreadsheet and has worked out he needs to swim 3756 lengths of the pool to complete the 42 miles.

The money raised will go to Jolly Josh to help towards buying specialist interactive sensory equipment for the children and their families to enjoy together.

Donations can be made through this page or direct to Jolly Josh. Please get in touch if you would like to donate direct.
