Charity Registration No. 247257

Hello and thank you for supporting our cause! :)

We, members of SWIMPACT, will be hosting a 12-hour Swimathon at our school on December 12th, 2017 (5.00am to 5.00pm) to raise funds for an NGO called Practical Action.  As privileged International students, we feel compelled to give back to the less fortunate members of our global community in any way we can, starting with those who struggle to obtain the most basic of needs. Through innovative thinking and technical knowledge, Practical Action challenges poverty in developing countries by helping the poorest of communities to produce simple, practical, and sustainable solutions to their long-standing problems.  As such, we will be dedicating ourselves to this Project in the hopes that with your help, we will be able make a significant change to thousands of lives in the most destitute regions of the world... for good!

Here are just a few examples of what your donation can do:

£10 - helps connect clinics in Zimbabwe to electricity and provides vital healthcare to members of local communities.

£30 - provides families in Bangladesh with fish cages which enable them to breed fish, ensuring a protein-rich diet and the means to work themselves out of poverty.

£50 - helps 60 people in Kenya to secure access to a clean safe water supply from a solar powered water pump OR purchases a strong and hardy Llama to help farmers in Bolivia survive.

We thank you in advance for your kind generosity. It means so much to us swimmers & Practical Action! :)
