Surrey Wildlife Trust is a local charity dedicated to the restoration of wildlife and wild places in Surrey. We care for nature on over 60 reserves and work with others to protect and restore our county's nature, as well as educating people of all ages about wildlife.

Story

Not content with running 65 miles in 16 hours in 2014 to raise awareness of Living Landscapes, Ben (Habgood) and James (Herd) are undertaking three consecutive days of physical challenges to raise much needed funds for a Surrey Wildlife Trust living landscape project "Hedgerow Heroes".

Living Landscapes is where our nature reserves and other protected natural open spaces are re-connected across the county, providing opportunities for rare wild plants and animals to interact and expand their populations.

So!  The plan is:

Friday 16th September - a 24 mile canoe upstream on the Wey navigation.

Sat 17th September - 114 mile road bike ride (including the infamous Box Hill!).

Sun 18th September - a 35 mile ultra-marathon run (finishing at the Norbury Park & Sawmill Open Day).

Please donate if you can as we will need as much support as possible!!

Thank you!
