Story

Sydney the dachshund here. One of my humans has decided I should take part in the 2.6 Challenge. So on 26 April 2020 I am going to fetch a ball 26 times. Easy you say! Well no. I am not a retriever or a spaniel. I’m a dachshund and I really don’t do fetch. I do pick up the ball and run off with it. I do pick up the ball and drop it on the way back. I do pick up the ball and hurtle back but then get distracted on the way. It’s a dachshund thing – I know what to do but it all depends if I want to...or not...

On 26 April I do want to – not necessarily in one sitting - human will post videos of some of my best attempts. And possibly some of my less successful attempts on my Twitter @Sydneyhound

I am raising much needed funds for Oxfam GB who are deeply concerned about how coronavirus will affect people living through conflict, disaster and poverty. But they need humans like you and dachshunds like me to help them to stop the spread by providing vital support like handwashing facilities, clean water, toilets and soap in the most vulnerable communities.

Please support me – and enjoy my exploits on Twitter @Sydneyhound
