Story
All of you will know that Sylvia was a very social person, with a busy calendar of activities and lunch outings, particularly in later life.
One of her favourite events of the week was her trip to Breathe Easy - a supervised exercise class, designed to safely improve the lung function of people with COPD. Breathe Easy is funded by the British Lung Foundation, and it was of huge benefit to Sylv and her fellow 'Breathe Eazy Crew' members as we liked to call them. Not only did the Breathe Eazy Crew come together to improve their health, they also became good friends; always going out for lunch after the Breathe Easy class, and keeping in touch and looking out for each other in between weekly sessions.
A particular highlight of Sylv's involvement in Breath Easy was the Tuesday dance class she attended off the back of it. One day, a wonderful dance teacher named Sian came to Breathe Easy to recruit dancers for her new class. As you can imagine, Sylv signed up straight away and absolutely loved attending the weekly class and meeting yet more friends. She even continued dancing on and off during the pandemic via Sian's Zoom classes.
Through the British Lung Foundation and Breathe Easy, Sylv found friendship and support, pride in her ability to exercise and joy in dancing. For these reasons, we're inviting anyone who would like to, to donate to this important cause.
Thank you.
