We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

On July 10th I'm attempting a half-Ironman triathlon event. It involves, one after the other, no stopping:

Swimming in a freezing cold lake for 1.2 miles (wearing a wetsuit full of holes - 'unrepairable' according to my local triathlon shop)

Cycling 58 miles

Running 13.1 miles (a little half-marathon to finish with, well why not?)

I have no idea if I can complete the distance, or whether my feet, knees and legs will still be in one piece by the end but I'm going to give it my best shot, because....

All money raised is going to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital!

The hospital does fantastic work and is looking after my friend's poorly baby who is seriously ill with liver cancer.

By supporting me you are also supporting the staff, parents and poorly children at Great Ormond Street Hospital, so please dig deep and donate now.
