Seeing the impact Alzheimer’s had on my dad was probably the toughest experience I’ve been through so far. He regressed from being an independent, successful doctor, to a dependent childlike person who eventually didn’t even know who we were. My mum worked tirelessly and thanklessly to look after him. 

The work the Alzheimer’s society do and the support they provide families is incredible. I’d love to see other families benefit from the same help we had.
