If a frightened child reached out to you, what would you do?

 

 

According to UNICEF, as many as four million Syrian children are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. 

 

 

Many of these children belong to refugee families who are now living in Lebanon. Thanks to the support of donors from around the world, The World Federation has been working hard to provide assistance these displaced refugee families where efforts are on-going to provide food, clothing, shelter and other essentials to alleviate their hardships in the wake of the conflict.

 

This Ramadhan, these Syrian refugee families need your help to bring food on the table and a shelter over their heads to lighten the day to day financial pressures they have – at least during this Blessed month.

 

 

With Ramadhan only 4 weeks away, please do give a small gifts to those who have lost everything.  Even pound/dollar makes a huge difference!  To give you an example, £3 would feed a family of 4 for 2 days! 

 

I was initially trying to raise £5000 but as you can see....we all came together to raise over £20,000 mashallah!  even now when I click on this page or think about the generosity, love, passion and commitment poeple have for those in need, my heart thanks Allah (SWT) for giving us all the the oppurtunities he has bestwoed upon us and I am gratfeull to belong to a community who give in the way of humanity!

 

We have come so far in 3 weeks mashallah....please let go a little further, so that we can make sure that these families are taken care of this Ramadhan.
