Story

The Prince's Trust are supporting young people to ensure they continue to learn new skills, grow in confidence and prepare for the future during this time. So we're asking everyone to get involved and Challenge Yourself to use your time at home to #GetCreative, #GetSkilled or #GetActive and this can be either a 30-day challenge, or a quick upskill.

Manchester Airport Group ("MAG"), Linklaters and Rothschild & Co teams working together on Project Mere needed an active challenge to keep motivated during long hours on a challenging project where creativity and skills were being used to the full. Mere-X was created.....a challenge to run/cycle/cross fit (and in some cases Golf or Yoga) our way from Manchester Airport to the MAG USA HQ, Chicago...covering 6,127km (3,807 miles) in 49 days ..... we made it to Chicago on the morning of 26 June - the last day of the challenge!

The team has chosen to raise funds to  support the Prince's Trust in the North West. The challenges for young people in Greater Manchester have only increased during COVID and the support of the Prince's Trust is going to be invaluable in the months and years to come....
