Event: SJ Running's Campaign for Ali Asghar Water Appeal run by The World Federation of KSIMC
Stanmore Jafferys Cycling are pleased to hold our annual flagship event, the cycling sportive. We welcome Stanmore Jafferys Running to join our campaign by holding a ladies 10K walk/run. Both events raise funds for WF AIDs Ali Asghar Water Appeal.

Story

We are taking part in the Stanmore Jafferys Running Sportive for WF-AID's Ali Asghar Water Appeal and will walk/run 10km along with a group of about 50 other women and girls to help raise funds for this amazing cause!

Today, 1 in 9 people lack access to safe water and 1 in 3 people lack access to a toilet. This results in a child dying every 2 minutes from contracting waterborne diseases.

For over ten years, the Ali Asghar Water Appeal has strived to provide better access to water for many water-scarce communities. This year, we aim to further build long-term sustainable water solutions across communities in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Palestine and Kenya.
