We provide palliative and end-of-life care to adults with a life-limiting illness

Story

Hello everyone. Next month, myself and 6 friends will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge on behalf of the Countess of Brecknock Hospice.

For those that don’t know, the Challenge involves climbing the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) within 24 hours. We aim to start in Scotland on Friday 19th May PM, climb each mountain in turn and drive between each one quickly (and safely) in order to complete it 1 day later on Saturday 20th May at the foot of Snowdon.

It’s a big undertaking, which we’re determined to complete not just for ourselves but for a very good cause:

The Countess of Brecknock Hospice provides respite and palliative care to adults suffering from life-limiting illness who live in Andover and its surrounding villages or who have a connection with the area, together with comfort and support for their families, friends and carers. They are hugely reliant on voluntary donations to maintain the exceptionally high standard of services and care they provide. Put simply, if we don't support the Hospice, it won't be there to help when it is needed.

If you would like to support our trip (and make our suffering worth it!) please do donate above, or share the link where possible - it  would be greatly appreciated!
