The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Most of you will know by now that I've been growing my hair to donate to the LPT for the past 19 months!! That's 19 months of tats, mega dance buns and loads of shampoo and conditioner! However, most of you know I love my Princesses and I channelled my inner Rapunzel! I do love my long hair but I felt I needed to make a small difference in the big fight against cancers. All Cancer is rubbish, but I think cancer in children is the worst. The child suffers and parents and friends suffer too. I can't cure Cancer but I can choose to make a small difference. I have 3 personal experiences of friends whose lives have been touched by childhood cancer. This stuff is real and it's unfair.

I'll be really honest. It was hard to say goodbye to my 7 inches today! 8 inches really as they allow for the bit above the bands. That's what I had cut off! It feels SO short! Yep, it happened at the great Headmasters in Tunbridge Wells! It was tough seeing those 19 months disappear. I hope now though I can persuade you to part with a few pennies to support my cause further. It is approximately £500 to make a wig. In these crazy pandemic times, I know money is tight for everyone. There are also lots of charities to support. That's why I set my target at half the cost of a wig. It's achievable. Together, we can make a real difference to how far my hair can go.

Thank you all so much

Love Tabby x
