Tabitha Donates her hair

Miguel Rios is raising money for Little Princess Trust
In memory of Jane Young
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Tabitha's Story
I am donating my hair to charity because some cancer medications cause children to lose their own hair and with it lose their confidence because of their appearance. By cutting and donating my hair I hope to help another child feel stronger during their treatments. Cancer has affected my family a lot in the last few years, my Auntie had cancer and lost her beautiful long hair and my Grandad also had cancer though he would have looked strange with long hair or a wig! The money raised will also help research ways of ending childhood cancers. Please support me in any way you can I hope to raise a useful amount of money through this event but will also need motivation and encouragement when the time comes to chop my lovely long hair.

Lots of love

Tabitha

From the Little Princess Trust:

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
