Taco 'Bout an awesome chance to help!

I work with an amazing group of young people at Gateway Early College High School.   These youth are daily beating the odds by taking college classes and moving forward with their education,  even when others say they can't. Over half of every high school senior also achieves an Associate's Degree from Gateway Community College the week before they receive their high school diploma.

They come from circumstances beyond our capacity to understand and the  last year COVID 19 has made those even worse.  

• They have lost parents and grandparents. 
• They have continued to fight to be A+ students, even when the virus had them down for the count.   
•  I do what I can to help these families with their social and emotional needs,  I help them with their FAFSA to go to the University, I write countless letters of recommendation, I make sure they get food boxes when they need them.  
• I work with their parents, as most barely have a 4th grade education.  Having a student in high school,  let alone going to a University is beyond their capacity to comprehend.  
• But you know what?  They do it... BIG TIME!!! 

Your generosity will help these families achieve those dreams they don't even know they can have.  Their students will visit University Campuses, Enroll in Extracurricular STEM programs, and many more activities that otherwise would be beyond their grasp.  

• You don't have to give alot,  maybe it's the cost of 1 day's Starbucks Run! 
• Maybe you do what I am doing and giving the cost of a TACO FEAST.. (If you know me that's what makes the most sense). 
• Maybe you can't give more than the support of forwarding this on to someone who can.  However you can help.. It's enough.
