I am Tahir Khan and I am an RFC National Hero from Redbridge. 

To support RFC I am taking up a challenge to run 30k over several days during Ramadhan while fasting.

I am inspired by 101-year-old Dabir Dada (Mr Choudhury OBE) who will be leading a global challenge named to complete 1.5 million steps named ‘Walk With Dabir Chacha’s’. Over 10,000 people from more than 150 cities globally will be participating from their own locations.

I am raising funds for victims of Covid-19 in the UK, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and 45 more countries. These funds will provide shelter for the homeless, feed the destitute, provide education for young girls and boys, aid widows, and help war-torn communities affected by disasters.

Last year, Dabirul Dada raised more than £420,000 for the NHS, the most disadvantaged in the UK, Bangladesh and globally.

The global walk will take place on 24th April at 2pm, I will be joining the historical walk too.
