Every 45 minutes, a woman in Bangladesh dies from complications in pregnancy or childbirth. Every 4 minutes, a child less than 1 month old dies because their mother didn't have access to proper post-natal and ante-natal care.

In 2013 5,200 women died during pregnancy or childbirth and 77,000 babies died during the first month of life.

Muslim Charity continues its life saving work by providing incubators for pre mature babies around the world and has now started to install units in Bangladesh. 

With your kind donations we will be able to provide this life saving equipment and help give the gift of life to vulnerable mothers. 

The campaign with maternal health is called Honouring our Mothers and is part of our aspiration to provide a new maternal health clinic in Bangladesh.
