Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I am sure you're all more than aware of the atrocities that have been and are happening in Gaza. While I cannot unfortunately be there and help with the humanitarian efforts I just felt like I could not sit by and do nothing. My brothers and sisters are being massacred and I just have to do something.
I will Insha'allah be wearing red everyday till I raise £1000 for Gaza - this will Insha'allah not take long as I am sure you are all more than generous and want to help as much as you can.
I realise that £1000 can seem like a lot but think of what a life is worth - and with £1000 we can save hundreds Insha'allah.
While I strongly feel helping is my Islamic duty this is not about being a Muslim - this is about being a human. The people of Gaza deserve better, the children of Gaza deserve to live without death and fear. I cannot imagine what they must be going through living constantly with the fear of death and annihilation hanging constantly over them.
Children are fragile creatures and this inhumane act of genocide must be harming them in so many ways. The trauma that these children are undergoing in totally unacceptable. Imagine what must be being felt by these children as the war planes pass overhead and the missile hit the houses of their neighbours, their schools, their houses - the bullets that hit them, their mothers and fathers. Their pain must be unimaginable!
It has to stop. But even if it does, the trauma will live on. Your donations will help not just save lives but make them better, God willing.
So please dig deep, dig as if your own lives, your childrens lives are on the line.
I have decided that to highlight the cause I will wear red everyday till I can raise this money. I would appreciate all the help you can give; so please get fundraising and what you raise with your friends, your colleagues, your families, your schools can be donated here and if we all raise sincerely and hard then in no time we shall have exceeded the £1000 mark!
