Al-Ikhlas Centre is located in the heart of Adamsdown. Here we serve our many local residents, but we are also within walking distance of a centre housing refugees and asylum seekers. This allows us to provide them with vital services they need, and to aid them to build new futures here in Wales.

During the month of Ramadan, we provide Iftar for around 200 members of the community on a daily basis. We are able to provide a safe environment where cross sections of society are welcomed and supported during their difficult circumstances, and we do our best to make them feel at home with us and bring them a sense of community.

Al Ikhlas is my local mosque and has always been a part of my childhood since it first opened. Every year we have many refugees and asylum seekers coming into the mosque for food and this year during the blessed month of Ramadan I want to be able to help support Iftar and Suhoor to ensure that at least someone is able to recieve a full meal.
