I really want to keep my hair long but I am willing to give up what I love as there are many others who are suffering around the world and don't have things that they love. The money raised will be used to sponsor 2 orphans in Syria (initially I wanted to sponsor one but as everyone is giving so generously I've changed it to four), to give them an opportunity of a future filled with hope and prosperity.

The children in Syria have been particularly affected, many of them orphaned, a large number separated from one or both parents, some without an adult to look after them.

Sahl bin Sa’d (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “I will be like this in Jannah with the person who takes care of an orphan.” The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration.[Sahih Al-Bukhari].
