Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Well what do you know? It turns out no-one has set a record for Land's End to John O'Groats by tall bike...

Clearly this is a silly thing to do though. So we might as well do it for a good cause. In our case, this means raising money for a charity based in the North East - Changing Lives. They do amazing stuff, working with the people who often get left behind. The charity provides compassionate professional services for over 17,000 vulnerable people and their families, every year.

This includes people who've had issues with drugs or alcohol, long term unemployment (often linked to or the cause of mental health problems), the homeless, and women and children.

Everyone the charity helps with is a person, not just a statistic. But when someone's been downtrodden and rejected for years, it can take a lot of work to get to who they really are. Your donation will help with this. It'll help people who have the most complex problems find out who they are underneath: Brave. Funny. Determined. Ambitious. Aspiring. Talented.

So please, be generous.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
