These young people are taken into care and removed from their families for their safety. They are victims and have never done anything wrong but find themselves in the most unfortunate circumstances.

These young people don't get taken on holiday at half term or during summer breaks, they have no parents to provide for them and are totally reliant on the welfare system to provide for them.

Anything we can do is an added bonus to bring a sense of normality to their lives. At the age of 18 they will be ejected from the care system and expected to look after themselves  with very limited support and future prospects.

 By engaging them at a young age and integrating them with a local caring community we can perhaps encourage a route to a better future.

All the money raised will go towards taking these young people on a Tall Ships adventure in the summer holidays of 2017. We are not allowed to share their identity's for their own safety. 

We will also be raising money in other ways such as Raffles, Events and charity walks etc. We will try and keep everyone informed.
